Carried one hospitality idea from identity into the room itself.

ROLE
Brand + Identity Designer
SCOPE
Brand identity / Interior branding / Visual systems

THE ASSIGNMENT
The owner initially asked for a logo for a new wine bar and eatery in downtown Columbia. I pushed the conversation toward the larger opportunity: create the kind of place people would seek out, remember, and share.
MY CONTRIBUTION
A short strategy exercise produced the phrase “Drink It In,” which became the filter for the identity, signage, menus, murals, and interior and exterior direction. I retained a local artist’s buck illustration as a supporting element while designing a more flexible family of marks and a pattern that connected the physical and digital experience.
WHAT IT ESTABLISHED
The restaurant opened as a cohesive place rather than a logo applied to a room. Its branded mural and environmental moments became part of how guests experienced and shared the destination.
